Scale:
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
½ cup amaretto liqueur
1 tsp almond extract
½ cup sliced almonds, toasted
1 cup whipped topping (optional, for a lighter texture)
½ cup whipped cream (for topping)
Additional toasted almonds (for topping)
Chocolate shavings or drizzles (optional, for topping)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted unsalted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well coated.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix well.
Slowly pour in amaretto liqueur and almond extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the almond mixture.
Fold in toasted sliced almonds.
Spoon the almond filling into the cooled pie crust. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream, additional toasted almonds, and chocolate shavings if desired.
