Ingredients
Scale:
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 large eggs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Set up the breading station: In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Bread the chicken: Dredge each chicken thigh in flour, dip in the egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake the chicken: Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Make the garlic cream sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
Add cream and broth: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stir, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine: Once the chicken is done baking, serve it drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce.
Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
