1 pound ground beef (80/20)
1 packet taco seasoning (1 ounce)
1 cup water
8 ounces spaghetti noodles
1 jar marinara sauce (24 ounces)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
10-12 taco shells (hard or soft)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
Sour cream (optional)
Fresh cilantro (optional)
Homemade taco sauce (optional)
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Once the beef is browned, drain excess fat if necessary. Add the taco seasoning and water, stir to combine, and let simmer slightly.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to meld the flavors.
In a pot, boil salted water and cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain spaghetti, return to the pot, and mix in marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
